1. Introduction

1.1 Kenaz ("Kenaz", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors, students, and service users.

1.2 This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

1.3 We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our contact details are set out in Section 14.

1.4 We process personal data in accordance with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations. Where we process data of students located in the European Union or United Kingdom, we also apply the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

1.5 This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By creating an account or purchasing a course, you confirm that you have read and understood it.

2.1 Card data. We do not see, store, or process your full card number, CVV, or PIN. Card details are entered directly into our payment provider's secure page.

2.2 Sensitive data. We do not ask for sensitive personal data (such as health, religion, or biometric data). Please do not submit it to us.

3.1 Automated processing. Two decisions are made automatically: the currency you are charged in (based on your IP country), and whether you have watched more than 10% of a course (based on platform viewing records). You may contact us to ask about or challenge either decision.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:

4.1 Each provider may process your data only on our instructions and for the purpose above, subject to its own security standards.

5. International Transfers

5.1 Some of our providers (for example video hosting and conferencing providers) store data outside Egypt. When your data is transferred abroad, we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, and we transfer only the data needed for the service.

6. How We Protect Your Data

6.1 We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole platform
  • Passwords stored in hashed form, never in plain text
  • Encryption of stored assessment answers
  • Access to personal data restricted to staff who need it for their role
  • Protected video delivery to prevent unauthorised copying
  • Card payments handled entirely by our payment provider

6.2 If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

7.1 After these periods, data is deleted or fully anonymised. We may keep data longer only where the law requires it or where it is needed for an ongoing legal claim.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access: receive a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure: ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to marketing at any time
  • Portability: receive your data in a common electronic format
  • Withdraw consent: where we rely on consent, without affecting earlier processing
  • Complain: to the Personal Data Protection Center (Egypt), or to your local data protection authority if you are located outside Egypt

8.1 To use any of these rights, email info@kenazadvisors.com from your registered email address. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first.

9. Cookies

9.1 We use strictly necessary cookies only. These cookies log you in, keep your session secure, and allow the platform to work. Because the platform cannot function without them, they do not require consent.

9.2 We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

9.3 If we introduce any cookies that are not strictly necessary in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them.

9.4 You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the platform, such as logging in, will not work without them.

10. Marketing Communications

10.1 Service messages (receipts, access and expiry notices, maintenance notices) are part of your course and cannot be switched off while your enrollment is active.

10.2 Marketing messages are optional. You can opt out at any time through the unsubscribe link or by emailing info@kenazadvisors.com, without affecting your service messages.

11. Children

11.1 Our courses are intended for students aged 18 or over. Students under 18 may use the platform only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn we have collected data from a minor without that consent, we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

12.1 Our platform may link to other websites, including ACCA's. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

13.1 We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will notify registered students of material changes by email and on the platform before they take effect.
