Terms and Conditions
Kenaz Platform — Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 27 August 2026
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These Terms govern your purchase and use of any course, programme, or learning material offered by Kenaz ("Kenaz", "we", "us"). By completing a purchase, you ("the Student", "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
1. Enrollment and Account
1.1 Each enrollment is personal to one Student. Accounts, login details, and course links must not be shared, resold, transferred to another person, or used by more than one individual.
1.2 Course videos, notes, slides, question banks, and any other material remain the intellectual property of Kenaz. Recording, downloading (except where a download button is provided), re-uploading, or distributing our material is strictly prohibited.
1.3 If we detect account sharing, unauthorised distribution, or any other breach of clauses 1.1 or 1.2, we may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without refund.
1.4 Eligibility. You must be at least [INSERT: e.g. 18] years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account and purchase a course. By registering you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
1.5 Accurate information. You must give a true name, a working email address, and a working phone number, and keep them up to date. Certificates, refund decisions, exam-related notices, and support responses are issued against the details on your account. We are not responsible for a notice you do not receive because your details were wrong or out of date.
1.6 Keeping your account secure. You are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at info@kenazadvisors.com if you believe someone else has gained access to it.
1.7 One account per Student. Holding more than one account in order to obtain a further refund window, a further transfer, a further extension, or a repeat discount is a breach of these Terms and may lead to all affected accounts being suspended without refund.
2. Fees, Pricing and Currency
2.1 The price you see at checkout is the full price. There are no hidden fees, no registration fee, no administrative fee, and no material fee. Everything included in the course is listed on the course page before you pay.
2.2 Currency. Kenaz prices courses in two currencies:
| Where you are located | Currency you will be charged in |
|---|---|
| Inside Egypt | Egyptian Pound (EGP) |
| Outside Egypt | US Dollar (USD) |
Your currency is determined automatically from the internet connection you are browsing on: our servers look up the country behind your IP address at the moment the price is shown to you. A connection in Egypt is charged in EGP; a connection anywhere else is charged in USD. Where the country cannot be determined — for example on a private network, or if the lookup service is unavailable — EGP applies.
Your account details, your billing address, and the country your card was issued in do not change the currency you are charged in, and you cannot select a currency yourself. The EGP price and the USD price are set independently and are not a direct exchange-rate conversion of one another. Students may not choose the currency that is cheaper for them at a given moment.
Attempting to disguise or misrepresent your location — for example by using a VPN, a proxy, or another person's billing details — in order to obtain the other currency's price is a breach of these Terms. We may correct the price, cancel the enrollment, or suspend the account.
2.3 No recurring fees. Kenaz courses are sold as a one-time purchase. There is no monthly subscription, no platform fee, no automatic renewal, and no recurring charge on your card. The only further payment that can arise is an optional access extension under clause 5.4, which is charged only if you request it.
2.4 Charges outside our control. Your bank or card issuer may apply international transaction fees, currency-conversion charges, or local taxes. These are set by your bank, are not received by Kenaz, and are not refundable by us.
2.5 Third-party exam and membership fees. Fees paid to ACCA (or any other professional body) for registration, subscription, exam entry, or exemptions are not part of the course price and are paid by you directly to that body.
2.6 Price changes. We may change our prices at any time. The price that applies to you is the price shown at the moment you complete your purchase. A later price rise creates no extra charge for you, and a later price drop does not entitle you to a partial refund or credit.
2.7 Discount codes and promotions. A discount code is valid only for the course, the period, and the number of uses stated when it is issued. It must be applied at checkout — it cannot be added to a completed purchase, exchanged for cash, or combined with another offer unless we say so expressly. We may withdraw a code, or refuse one that has been shared publicly, obtained improperly, or used in breach of clause 1.7.
2.8 What is included. Unless the course page says otherwise, your purchase covers the recorded lectures, the notes and materials, the question banks and mock exams published for that course, and the support channels described in Section 16. Printed books, ACCA fees, exam bookings, and one-to-one advisory sessions are not included unless expressly stated.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 When you can get your money back. You are entitled to a full refund if both of the following are true:
- You have watched 10% or less of the total course content; and
- You submit your refund request within [INSERT: e.g. 14 days] of your purchase date.
3.2 When you cannot. Once you have watched more than 10% of the course content, or once the request window in clause 3.1 has passed, the purchase is final and no refund will be issued — for any reason, including change of mind, exam deferral, personal circumstances, employer non-reimbursement, or failure to complete the course.
3.3 How 10% is measured. Viewing is measured automatically by our platform, based on total video minutes watched as a percentage of total course video minutes across the whole course (not per lesson). The platform's viewing record is the sole basis for this decision and is final.
3.4 How refunds are paid. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method only, in the original currency of purchase, within [INSERT: e.g. 14 business days] of approval. Kenaz is not responsible for any loss you incur because of exchange-rate movement between the purchase date and the refund date, or for fees deducted by your bank or the payment gateway.
3.5 Requesting a refund. Send your request to info@kenazadvisors.com from the email address registered on your account, stating your name, course, and purchase date.
3.6 Extension fees are non-refundable. Any amount paid for an access extension under clause 5.4 is non-refundable once the extension has been applied.
3.7 Effect of a refund. When a refund is approved, your enrollment in that course ends on the date of approval, and your access to its videos, materials, question banks, and any certificate issued for it is withdrawn. Any platform credit, discount, or bundle benefit that depended on the refunded purchase is withdrawn with it.
3.8 Free, gifted, and sponsored places. Where a place was granted free of charge, or paid for by an employer or sponsor, no refund is payable to you. Any refund due is returned to the party that actually paid.
4. Course Transfers
4.1 Switching courses. You may transfer your enrollment from the course you purchased to a different Kenaz course. One transfer is permitted per purchase. Once a transfer has been used, the enrollment cannot be moved again. Requests must be made in writing to info@kenazadvisors.com from your registered email address.
4.2 Price difference.
- If the new course costs more, you pay the difference before the transfer is applied.
- If the new course costs less, the difference is held as platform credit toward a future Kenaz course. It is not refunded in cash.
4.3 Effect on your access period. Your access period continues to run from your original purchase date and is not restarted, paused, or extended by the transfer. If the new course carries a different access length (6 or 12 months), the length attached to the course you transfer into applies, counted from the original purchase date.
4.4 Effect on your refund rights. After a transfer, the refund window in clause 3.1 continues to run from your original purchase date, and the 10% limit applies to the combined content you have watched across both courses. A transfer does not reset your refund eligibility.
4.5 Exam dates. Kenaz does not set, administer, or control ACCA exam sessions. Booking, deferring, or cancelling an exam is arranged by you, directly with ACCA, under ACCA's own rules and deadlines. A deferred or missed exam does not entitle you to a refund, a free extension, or a second transfer.
4.6 Platform credit. Credit held under clause 4.2 is personal to you, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and expires [INSERT: e.g. 12 months] after it is issued if it has not been used against another Kenaz course.
4.7 Moving between live and recorded delivery. Where you transfer from a live-session round into a recorded course, or the reverse, the access length, schedule, and included sessions of the course you move into apply. A live round you have already missed is not repeated for you, and a round that has already begun may be closed to transfers.
5. Access Period and Extension
5.1 Access length. Every course is sold with a stated primary access period of either 6 months or 12 months. The applicable period is shown on the course page before purchase.
5.2 Start date. Your access period begins on the date of purchase, regardless of when you first log in or when you actually begin studying.
5.3 Extension. After your primary access period ends, you may extend your access by up to a maximum of four (4) months in total. This is a cumulative cap: whether taken as one extension or several shorter ones, total additional access can never exceed four months.
5.4 Cost of extension. Extensions are not free. The fee is [INSERT: EGP ___ / USD ___ per month], charged in the same currency as your original purchase. Access is extended only once payment is received.
5.5 Deadline to request an extension. An extension must be requested and paid for within one (1) month of your access period expiring. After that one-month window closes, no extension is available and your enrollment ends permanently.
5.6 When the extension runs from. An extension runs from the date your primary access period expired — not from the date you paid for it. Requesting an extension late does not add time.
5.7 What happens when access ends. When your access period expires — including any extension under clause 5.3 — your access to the course, its videos, and its materials ends automatically and permanently. Content is not archived for you, progress is not preserved, and no refund or partial credit is due for unwatched content. To study the course again, you must purchase it again at the price then in force.
5.8 Course updates. Where a course is updated during your access period (for example, for a new IFRS standard or a syllabus change), the updated material is provided to you at no additional cost.
5.9 No pausing or freezing. An access period cannot be paused, frozen, or deferred, including for illness, travel, work commitments, or an exam deferral. Time continues to run from the purchase date in every case.
5.10 Withdrawal of a course. If we withdraw a course from sale during your access period, you keep your access to it for the remainder of that period. If we have to remove it before your period ends, we will offer you an equivalent course or a pro-rata refund for the unexpired part.
6. Payments and Card Security
6.1 Payments are processed through our authorised payment gateway. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Meeza, mobile wallets, and bank transfer. The methods available to you at checkout may depend on your location and on your bank.
6.2 All card payments are handled by the gateway provider under its own security standards. Kenaz does not see, store, or process your full card number, CVV, or PIN. Any card data you enter is submitted directly to the gateway.
6.3 Access to the course is granted only after payment is confirmed by the gateway. Where a payment is pending, under review, declined, or reversed, access may be withheld or suspended until the position is resolved.
6.4 If you initiate a chargeback with your bank instead of following the refund process in Section 3, we may suspend your account while the chargeback is investigated. A chargeback raised on a purchase that does not meet the conditions of clause 3.1 will be treated as a breach of these Terms.
6.5 Pricing and payment errors. If a course is displayed or charged at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply the course at that price. Where a payment is duplicated, we refund the duplicate to the original method.
6.6 Proof of purchase. A receipt is issued to your registered email address for every payment. If you need an invoice in a particular name or format — for example for an employer — request it at info@kenazadvisors.com before or shortly after purchase.
7. Student Conduct
7.1 Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other Students in all live sessions, comment sections, and support channels.
7.2 Kenaz may remove a Student from a live session, a group, or the platform for abusive, disruptive, or dishonest behaviour. Removal for conduct reasons does not entitle you to a refund.
7.3 Prohibited use of the platform. You must not attempt to bypass access controls or digital rights management, scrape or bulk-download content, probe or attack the platform's security, upload malicious files, or impersonate a member of staff or another Student.
7.4 Manipulating viewing records. Because refund eligibility under clause 3.1 depends on measured viewing, deliberately manipulating the viewing record — for example by playing content muted in the background, or by using software to simulate playback — is a breach of these Terms and disqualifies the purchase from any refund.
8. Service Availability
8.1 We aim to keep the platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, technical failures, or events outside our reasonable control may cause temporary interruption.
8.2 Where an interruption materially prevents access for an extended period, we will extend the affected Students' access period by an equivalent amount of time, free of charge. This is our sole remedy for downtime.
8.3 Planned maintenance. Planned maintenance windows are announced in advance by email and shown on the platform before they begin, with the expected end time. We aim to give at least three (3) days' notice, and a finished window stays on the student-facing list for seven (7) days afterwards so anyone who missed the notice can still see what happened. A planned window announced this way is not treated as downtime under clause 8.2.
8.4 Technical requirements. You are responsible for your own device, browser, and internet connection. To use the platform you need:
- Browser: one of the two most recent versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari. On mobile, iOS 15 or later, or Android 9 or later.
- Browser settings: JavaScript and cookies enabled, and support for encrypted video playback (DRM). Our lecture videos are protected, so a browser or device without DRM support — including some older devices, modified builds, and in-app browsers inside social media applications — will not play them.
- Internet speed: at least 5 Mbps download for recorded lectures, 10 Mbps for high-definition playback, and a stable 3 Mbps up and down for live sessions.
- Network access: an unrestricted connection to our platform and to our video and conferencing providers. Corporate, university, and public networks often block video streaming or conferencing.
A problem caused by your own equipment, browser, network, employer or campus firewall, VPN, or a country-level restriction is not downtime, and does not entitle you to an extension or a refund.
9. Live Sessions and Recorded Lectures
9.1 Schedule. Where a course includes live sessions, the round dates are published before purchase. We may reschedule an individual session for operational reasons, and will give as much notice as we reasonably can.
9.2 Attendance is your responsibility. Missing a live session does not entitle you to a private repeat session, a refund, an extension, or a transfer.
9.3 Recordings. Live sessions may be recorded and made available inside the course. By joining a live session you consent to being recorded where your microphone, camera, or chat messages form part of the session. Recordings are covered by clause 1.2 and must not be captured, shared, or redistributed by you.
9.4 Availability of recordings. Where a recording is provided, it is available for the remainder of your access period only. We do not guarantee that every live session will be recorded, or that a recording will be free of technical faults.
10. Assessments, Mock Exams and Academic Integrity
10.1 Question banks, practice sessions, and mock exams are provided for study purposes. They are written by Kenaz. They are not ACCA examinations, are not set or endorsed by ACCA, and do not predict the content of any real exam.
10.2 Marks, scores, and pass indications given by the platform are indicative only and carry no formal standing with ACCA or with any employer.
10.3 Integrity. Copying, publishing, or circulating our questions or model answers, and sharing answers with other Students, is prohibited and is a breach of clauses 1.2 and 7.3.
10.4 Manually marked answers. Some question types are reviewed by a marker rather than scored automatically. Turnaround for marked feedback is [INSERT: e.g. N working days], and a marker's assessment is a matter of academic judgement.
11. Certificates and Records of Completion
11.1 A certificate of completion is issued only where you meet the completion criteria published for that course, and only while your enrollment is in good standing.
11.2 A Kenaz certificate records completion of a Kenaz course. It is not an ACCA qualification, an ACCA exemption, or evidence of an ACCA exam pass.
11.3 We may withdraw or invalidate a certificate obtained through a breach of these Terms or issued in error, and may correct a certificate that carries wrong details.
11.4 Certificates should be downloaded before your access period ends. After access ends, re-issue is at our discretion and may carry an administrative charge.
12. Advisory and One-to-One Sessions
12.1 Where you book an advisory or one-to-one session, the fee, the duration, and the cancellation window for that session are shown at the time of booking and are separate from your course fee.
12.2 Sessions are held over the video platform we nominate. Joining on time and with a working connection is your responsibility. A session missed without notice within the cancellation window is treated as delivered and is not refunded.
12.3 Advisory sessions provide study and career guidance. They are not accounting, audit, tax, legal, financial, or immigration advice, and must not be relied on as such.
13. Content You Submit
13.1 Comments, questions, notes, reviews, feedback, and files you submit remain yours. You grant Kenaz a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use them for the purpose of operating, supporting, and improving the platform.
13.2 You must not post anything unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading, or infringing of anyone else's rights, and must not post another person's personal data or confidential material.
13.3 We may edit, hide, or delete submitted content, and may suspend the account behind it, where it breaches clause 13.2. We do not routinely pre-screen submissions and are not responsible for opinions expressed by Students.
13.4 We may publish a review or testimonial you submit, in whole or in part, alongside your first name and course. Tell us at info@kenazadvisors.com if you do not want your words used this way.
14. Communications and Notifications
14.1 By registering you agree to receive service messages by email, WhatsApp, in-platform notification, and push notification — for example payment receipts, access and expiry notices, schedule changes, maintenance notices, support replies, and updates to these Terms. Service messages are part of the course and cannot be opted out of while your enrollment is active.
14.2 Marketing messages about other courses and offers are separate. You can opt out of them at any time, using the unsubscribe link or by writing to info@kenazadvisors.com, without affecting your service messages.
14.3 Communications are sent to the email address and phone number on your account. Keeping them current is your responsibility under clause 1.5.
14.4 A notice we send electronically is treated as received on the day it is sent, whether or not you open it.
15. Personal Data
15.1 How we collect, use, share, and retain your personal data — including your viewing records, assessment results, payment records, and support history — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
15.2 Viewing, progress, and assessment data are recorded automatically. This data is used to run the course, to determine refund eligibility under clause 3.3, to support you, and to improve our teaching.
15.3 Where a purchase is made or funded by an employer or sponsor, we may confirm your enrollment, attendance, and completion to that party.
16. Support, Complaints and Appeals
16.1 Academic questions and technical problems are raised through the Support section of your account. An academic question goes to the tutor or subject matter expert who teaches that paper; a technical problem goes to the platform support desk.
16.2 Response times. Our published targets are 48 hours for an academic question, 24 hours for a technical problem, and 5 days to full resolution. Times are counted from the moment you submit, and the desk is staffed Saturday to Thursday, 10:00–18:00 (Cairo time). The figure shown to you on screen when you submit is always the one in force, and prevails over the numbers repeated here.
16.3 A support question is not a complaint. If you are unhappy with how a matter has been handled, our Complaints Policy applies: we acknowledge a complaint within 2 days, give a full response within 10 days, and accept an appeal within 14 days of our decision. If our own complaints and appeals process is exhausted, you may escalate to ACCA.
16.4 Nothing in these Terms limits your right to complain to ACCA or to the relevant regulator.
17. No Guarantee of Results
17.1 Kenaz provides tuition and study material. We do not guarantee that you will pass any ACCA exam, obtain an exemption, complete a qualification, or achieve any particular career outcome.
17.2 Pass rates, testimonials, and student results shown in our marketing describe past outcomes for other Students. They are not a promise about yours.
17.3 Our material is prepared with care and updated for syllabus changes during your access period, but ACCA's own syllabus, exam rules, and deadlines are set by ACCA and prevail over anything published by us.
18. Limitation of Liability
18.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18.2 Subject to clause 18.1, our total liability to you in connection with a course, however arising, is limited to the amount you actually paid Kenaz for that course.
18.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost exam fees, lost study time, a missed exam sitting, lost earnings, lost employment or promotion, or loss of data.
18.4 The platform and its material are provided for study purposes. They are not professional advice, and you remain responsible for your own professional judgement and for meeting ACCA's requirements.
19. Indemnity
19.1 You agree to compensate Kenaz for any loss, claim, or cost we incur because you breached clauses 1.1, 1.2, 7.3, or 13.2 — in particular where our material is redistributed, or where content you submitted infringes someone else's rights.
20. Force Majeure
20.1 We are not in breach of these Terms, and are not liable, for a delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control — including internet or power failure, failure of a hosting, streaming, or payment provider, cyber-attack, strike, epidemic, natural disaster, war, or an act of a government or regulator.
20.2 Where such an event prevents access for an extended period, clause 8.2 applies.
21. Suspension and Termination
21.1 We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice depending on the seriousness of the matter, where you breach these Terms, where a payment is reversed or disputed, or where we are required to do so by law.
21.2 Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund of any part of your fee, and does not release you from amounts already due.
21.3 You may close your account at any time by writing to info@kenazadvisors.com. Closing your account ends your access immediately and does not create a right to a refund outside Section 3.
21.4 Clauses that by their nature should survive — including clause 1.2, Section 3, Section 15, Section 18, Section 19, and Section 25 — continue to apply after your enrollment ends.
22. Third-Party Services
22.1 The platform relies on third-party providers: Vimeo, Bunny CDN, and YouTube for video hosting and streaming, Zoom for live and advisory sessions, Paymob for payment processing, and our email and WhatsApp providers for messaging. Their own terms apply to their services.
22.2 Links to third-party sites, including ACCA's, are provided for convenience. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.
22.3 We may change a third-party provider at any time, provided the course itself continues to be delivered.
23. General
23.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Complaints Policy, and the details published on the course page you purchased, form the whole agreement between you and Kenaz for that purchase.
23.2 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms except through the transfer process in Section 4. We may assign our rights to a successor of our business.
23.3 Severability. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
23.4 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not lose it.
23.5 No third-party rights. These Terms are between you and Kenaz. No other person has the right to enforce them.
23.6 Language. The platform is published in English and Arabic. Where these Terms appear in both languages, the English version prevails in the event of a conflict.
23.7 Headings. Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
24. Changes to These Terms
24.1 We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your enrollment is the version published on the date of your purchase. Material changes will be notified by email to registered Students.
24.2 Each published version is recorded with a version number, and your acceptance is recorded against the version you accepted.
24.3 Where a change is required by law or by ACCA, it applies to existing enrollments from the date we notify you.
25. Governing Law and Contact
25.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of [INSERT CITY] have jurisdiction over any dispute.
25.2 Before starting legal proceedings, both sides agree to try to resolve the matter through the complaints and appeals procedure described in Section 16.
